River is a Somatic Sex Educator, Tension and Trauma Release Exercises (TRE®) practitioner, and bodyworker with a private practice on Onöndowa’ga:’ land (Rochester, NY). Their decade of experience as a body based practitioner, has supported many folks with their deep and profound healing journeys. Their work is dedicated to pleasure, the re-integration of the body after trauma with body-centered practices, relational repair, consent practices, and scar tissue remediation.

Somatic coaching and bodywork, embodied pleasure education, scar tissue remediation and trauma support sessions for queers and women.

Kass & Vanessa met at Tru Yoga in 2022 and became fast friends. In the summer of 2024, they decided to take the plunge into studio ownership together, and bought Tru from Imani, the previous owner. Dedicated to honoring the studio’s rich history while shaping its future, they bring their years of experience and love for the community into every aspect of the space.

Yoga classes, special events and workshops. We are particularly proud of our Affirming Care Practices, which include classes for Queer & Trans folks, BIPOC, and folks in recovery.

Cost: Our drop in classes are offered sliding scale: $10, $15 or $20. We have a few Pay What You Can classes on the schedule, including all of our Affirming Care Practices. Monthly memberships for unlimited yoga are $90, but we are always open to offering reduced price memberships to folks in need.

Christina (Chris) is a licensed massage therapist with over 25 years of experience, dedicated to helping clients find relief, balance, and well-being through her skilled practice. In addition to her work, Chris has been a longtime activist and advocate, committed to social justice and supporting her community. Her dedication to both her profession and her advocacy reflects her deep care for others and her passion for creating positive change.

Sarah is a trauma-informed massage therapist and craniosacral therapist. She operates a private and accessible space where she utilizes cupping and somatic practices. She approaches physical pain and stress with respect, curiosity and care. In addition to offering massage and bodywork, she is a traditional lineage based Vedic astrologer.

Location: I live in Rochester, NY

Queer aesthetician providing gender affirming care, with additional focuses on skin of color, and caring for immunocompromised clients.

Top surgery recovery treatments, pre/post op care consults for trans people and their care takers, I create post-op kits for gender affirming surgeries, specialized facials, non gendered body waxing, permanent makeup. I also help people navigate the medical system, by educating clients on what prescription options are available, and how to advocate for themselves as it pertains to dermatology/primary care appointments.

Cost: Costs vary from $30-440. However I do regularly reach out to activists, or post about complimentary appointments (prioritizing queer & BIPOC folks) throughout the year.

I've been a doula for six years, a health educator for 14 (!) and have a public health degree. I recently got ordained as a wedding officient and started a second business for micro events in August.

I have a lot of skills and I'm moving to Rochester for nursing school from NYC in the spring and would love to get on top of organizing before then. 

I am a Rochester native who wants to empower young people by providing them with the knowledge and skills they need to make informed decisions about their bodies and engage in safer sex practices.

I am a sexual health educator. I can provide curriculum-based education for youth (12-18) through Rochester's RISE program, and one-on-one counseling for adolescents and young adults (12-26) through Jordan Health.

Cost: There is no charge for me to come to do the curriculum based programming. Jordan Health offers a sliding scale for payment.

I am a yoga instructor, tarot reader & creative person who has been teaching yoga since 2013 & reading tarot for over 25 years. My classes are trauma focused, and enriched by my first hand experience living with C-PTSD (and being on the never-ending healing journey that that brings.) We all deserve to feel at home in our bodies! Everything I offer is informed by my experience as a queer, neurodivergent, non-binary femme. I am so grateful to all of the people I have had the privilege of practicing with over the years, and look forward to getting to know those I am yet to meet. :)
