I’m a trans, intersex, and queer therapist who specializes in trauma work, particularly trauma caused by systemic oppression. This includes religious trauma caused by religious fundamentalism, including Christian nationalism. I’m accepting new clients, and am out of network with insurance companies to better protect folx private information. I do offer receipts of service for folx to send to their insurance company for reimbursement. This helps to provide coverage of services while also preventing insurance companies from reading what was discussed in therapy. I have a sliding fee scale for TGNCNB and intersex folx as well. All of my sessions are through a HIPAA secure video platform, and I keep paper notes as another protection measure for my clients. I have more information on my website and a blog for SOGI religious trauma education at theliberatedporch.com

Cost: Sliding Scale/ Barter
Location: Richmond, VA and I can provide therapy for all in Virginia and general mental health groups/trainings virtually
Additional: In addition to the website for Prince Kitty Co, LLC, I created a virtual mental health resource space that gives a visual feel to those of us who want resources but have a tough time with the lists. Angelica’s Self Care Space is a virtual resource library including clickable/interactive activities and resources! The purpose is to provide access to helpful resources and therapeutic suggestions without having to be currently involved with mental health services/ having to pay for support already out there. The hope is to improve accessibility in a world that has been engulfed in capitalism and service/resource segregation based on levels of privilege. This Virtual Self Care Space was created by Angelica Gehlich, LCSW. The images and books are not original content by Angelica Gehlich and have been found online so accessible to all. Most of the images are clickable/interactive that will either pop up or open in a new window. You may need to download the Google Slides app in order to utilize the resources. www.tinyurl.com/AngelicasSelfCareSpace
