  • I love officiating wedding ceremonies! I have officiated everything from a 300 person extravaganza at Sonnenburg Gardens, to small apartment weddings with immediate family.

    Cost: Free if you need it. If you have money, I request a donation to Friends of Borgne (local non-profit that funds scholarships and a soup kitchen in Borgne, Haiti)

    Location: I live in Rochester, and will drive up to an hour.

  • I am an educator with 10+ years of experience and an English as a New Language teacher, assistant principal, and district administrator. My three professional values are equity, joy, and excellence.

    I’d be happy to talk with parents and families about navigating difficult issues within a school system. I’m not a lawyer and I don’t know everything about education, but I can give you some language and specific ideas around advocacy for your child.

    Location: Located in Rochester but happy to Zoom or talk on the phone with anyone!

  • I work at Family Counseling Service of the Finger Lakes (https://fcsfl.org/lgbtq-program). I am an LGBTQ+ advocate there.

    I have a wide range of services as an advocate. I help folks with the name change process, linking them to gender affirming care, as well as providing emotional support (even though I am not a therapist, sometimes it’s nice to just talk to someone who gets it). I also help co-facilitate 3 active support groups (which flyers for those can be found on our website that I linked above).

    Cost: Our LGBTQ+ Program services are free

    Location: We cover 5 different counties: Monroe, Wayne, Seneca, Yates, and Ontario. I am the LGBTQ+ advocate for Wayne, Monroe, and Ontario. We have offices in all of our counties, or I am willing to meet folks at public spaces like a library, or virtually on Zoom, whatever works best for them.

    Note: I would reach out to LGBTQ@fcsfl.org because that reaches all of our LGBTQ+ advocates and my supervisor.

  • I am the minister at the First Universalist Church with experience leading rituals to mark transitions and milestones- births, weddings, deaths. I have been doing this work for over 15 years.

    Marriage officiant, funeral officiant, embroidered spells

    Cost: Officiant work is $100-$400 sliding scale. Spell work is custom and sliding scale depending on size and scope of work.

  • Hello! My name is Lizzy, I’m a grad student at UR and a queer woman. I’m not originally from Roc but I’ve lived here since 2016 and really love the city. I have two cats named Brussel Sprouts and Butternut, and love reading, jigsaw puzzles, and karaoke :)

    I’m a notary! So anything you need a notary for I’m able to do. Specifically for this, I’m a queer friendly person to notarize name change documents, but I’m also more than happy to notarize whatever other documents you may need.

  • I'm a Rochester resident for 5 years, from Long Island originally, and I began my transition about 10 years ago. I'm very passionate and vocal about trans rights. I would love to ordain weddings for LGBTQ+ people who are in need of a secular officiant. I am ordained through the Universal Life Church.

    I am a Notary Public in the State of New York. I can perfectly any notoriety services which include name change documents, certified copies, affidavit and others! However as a notary, I cannot provide legal advice. Availability is weeknights and weekends.
